The Good Hurt!

Hip-hop isn't dead by any means...just take a listen to the very live and stylish lynguistics by every emcee that graced the stage this past Wednesday night. The Good Hurt was holding everybody down with Cadalack Ron releasing his new album: Dead at 27. A night of positive, living hip hop performances. The night included Thirsty Fish, Cadalack Ron & Konsept, and Brothaz Bent also showed up to bring down the house! All in all, a night that more than anything proved to me that Hip Hop is far from dead, it's underground scene is growing strong!

The offspring of my good friends Jacob Johnson and Kelly Futch, this boy was born with a full head of hair and the dome piece to match!!! A healthy new addition the Johnson family, here are a few pics from the blessed day. and yes, the Black&White images were really shot with with 4x5 polaroids in black and white. New York City!!!

So, for this past week I have been in the great city of New York. Oh what a place, something new and exciting every night, every day, every trip in every way...I was there for work and for play. I was visiting various editorial outlets for work as well as advertising outlets. I have to say the biggest responses were at ESPN magazine and at Arnold advertising agency. It was a jam packed week, but I would be willing to do it all over again. I have some pics from with my posse, Kevin Ou and Melissa Valldares, as we marched from location to location. There was also a gallery opening that I attended in which Kevin Ou was diplaying two pieces, one of which a first place win!

We also tasted the delights of Serendipity 3, a delicious little spot with HUGE frozen hot chocolates. Mmmm Mmmm good! I also had to purchase myself a LA hat while in NY, why you ask? cause I'm a little weird like that, and I purchased my NY hat in LA, figured I should follow suit!

All in all it was an amazing experience that I would do time and time again. Hopefully this fall will be round Two!

Now that's what a Sunday is supposed to be about, just hanging out at the pool. I just happen to have a camera and had some with fun getting into trouble with it...though I can't show you those shots i can show you these. Pretty good for a little point and shoot huh?

Hot Tuna!!!!!

Yup, that's right folks, Hot Tuna is hitting the market fresh with this seasons newest bikinis. On friday June 29th I was down in Long Beach at the V20 club, where I was witness to a runway show for Hot Tuna, this collection entirely designed by none other than the infamous Anya Aghababian. Rock on Anya!

It was a fun night filled with lots of drinks and very little clothes, and $3.00 heineken's from the nice little lady in the red bikini;) I rolled with the posse including Melissa, Kev!n Ou, Stewy & Naomi. I have a feeling this same group may be headed to Vegas soon...

Dirt Alliance/Fight the Fear

Last Friday, the 22nd I was down at the Del Mar Fairgrounds near San Diego. All kinds of high flyin', back flippin' motorcycle action was going down. In the middle of all this, literally, Fight the Fear rocked the stage and I was snappin some live shots of the night! The put on a killer show, and I got some nice pics to match!

Disneyland with the Fam!

When do you get too old for Disnehyland? NEVER is the correct answer. I had a blast with my Sister Brooke, her two kids Evan and Lillian, my sister Cassie, and her boyfriend Mike on Monday. I brought my camera to take some pics since it was my nephew and nieces' first trip. The little ones had some of the biggest smiles I've ever seen!
